Description | Reporting to the Head Field Hockey Coach, the Assistant Field Hockey Coach is responsible for assisting the Head Coach to ensure the program’s success as directly related to the skill development and performance of the student athletes, as well as the recruitment, retention, and conduct of the student athletes. All staff members are responsible for the policy, procedures, and guidelines of Hofstra University and the job requirements specific to the particular assignments inherent to field hockey. This position requires working weekends and holidays and attending athletic events as appropriate. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Salary/Salary Range | $40,000 - $41,350 ($3,000 annual car stipend) |
Hofstra University provides the above salary* as a good faith estimate of the starting pay range which considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience and education. In addition to the salary offered, we offer a collegial and inclusive culture, and a benefits program which includes generous paid time off, paid holidays, tuition remission for employees and eligible dependents, and a retirement plan with University contributions.
