The Academic Mentor will work one-on-one with multiple student-athletes in a structured academic setting. Mentors provide guided instruction in study skills, research skills, and time-management techniques, as well as support in accessing academic resources. The mentor is expected to establish rapport with student-athletes by demonstrating patience, building trust, and maintaining confidentiality in all discussions.

Mentors are required to complete daily reports for each mentoring session. This position reports directly to the Academic Mentor Coordinator within the Student-Athlete Support Services (SASS) program. This is not a tutoring position.

Applicants must be available for various time blocks during the week (Monday–Friday).

Colorado State University may conduct background checks on final candidates.
