 Position Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Performance Division: Athletics Department: Athletics Reports to: Vice President of Athletics and Athletic Operations  Position Summary   Leads the strength and conditioning program for Livingstone College athletics and supports physical development. health, and performance of student athletes.  Essential Duties & Responsibilities   The results you will deliver each day that matter most! Design and implement sport-specific strength and conditioning program Supervise sport performance coaches and graduate assistants  Manage weight room scheduling and safety protocols. Support nutrition education, recovery programs, and injury prevention strategies. Oversee the sports performance budget and equipment resources.  Provide gameday and administrative support assigned  Other duties as assigned Education/ Experience   What you will need to be successful! Bachelor’s degree (required) in: Exercise Science Kinesiology Human Performance Physical Education or related field  Certifications & Licensure CSCS (Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist) OR CSCCa (SCCC certification) CPR/AED certification Sports Performance Experience  3–5+ years of collegiate experience or similar roles Experience designing programs for multiple sports Hands-on coaching in weight room, speed, agility, and conditioning Supervising staff, interns, or GA’s Managing a performance program or weight room Working directly with sport coaches and sports medicine teams Life at Livingstone College   Why we believe you will love working at Livingstone College!!
