New Mexico Highlands University, a Division II member of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, has an opening for an Athletic Trainer beginning August 2025. This is a twelve month full time position. This job does require weekends, nights, travel, and observed school holidays. Candidates to be considered for this position must be NATA BOC certified prior to being hired as well as having a current BLS or Professional Rescuer CPR/AED certification. They must also have or be eligible to obtain New Mexico Athletic Trainer licensure within 30 days of employment. Possible sport assignments could include men’s and women’s basketball, softball, volleyball, wrestling, women’s track, softball, or assistance with football.
