Position Summary

Belmont Abbey College, an NCAA Division II institution and member of the Conference Carolinas, invites applications for the current position of Assistant Athletic Trainer.

Job Responsibilities

This is a full-time, ten-month appointment. Sport assignments are to be determined. Some travel is required as well as work on weekends (except most Sundays) and some civil holidays.

Some additional administrative duties will be assigned; including, but not limited to coordination of our weekly physician clinic, inventory tracking/management, insurance claim filing, drug testing, and accurate, timely injury documentation.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will demonstrate a positive attitude for the college athletic training setting, a strong work ethic, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment, flexibility, creativity, resourcefulness, and be able to work independently as well as within the context of the both the athletic training department and the athletic department as a whole.

Knowledge of or prior use of Sportsware by CSMi is preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree or Entry Level Master’s degree in athletic training
• NATABOC Certified
• NC Licensure or eligible
• Current CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification
