4. Assist women’s basketball program within the rules, policies and procedures of Wayne State College, NSIC, and the NCAA.
   
5. Assist the head coach with coaching, recruiting, administration and overall implementation of the intercollegiate women’s basketball program.
   
6. Assist head coach with overseeing and monitoring student-athlete academic success and eligibility.
   
7. Provide leadership and oversight with program compliance of NCAA rules and regulations.
   
8. Assist head coach with the development, coordination, and implementation of practice plans, strategies, and coaching techniques.
   
9. Assist head coach with the coordination and implementation of sports camps and leagues.
   
10. Assist in promotion, fundraising, and public relations activities for the Wayne State College Athletic Department as required.
    
11. Other duties assigned by the Head Women’s Basketball Coach or the Director of Athletics.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus coaching experience. Must have knowledge of NCAA or NAIA (as applicable) rules and regulations.
• Assistant Coaches with teaching assignments are required to have a Master’s degree.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree – Required for teaching assignment.
• Three years of coaching experience at the NCAA Division II level (or higher)

Salary Information

Competitive, commensurate with qualifications & experience. Attractive & comprehensive fringe benefit package. Salary range is $42,257- $52,821.
