The University offers a competitive benefits package. Benefits include the accumulation of two vacation days per month, one sick leave day per month, and thirteen University holidays. Other benefits include medical and life insurance (shared cost with the university), retirement, optional 401k, and educational benefits.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Four years of successful softball or baseball coaching and/or playing experience at the collegiate level. Education and experience necessary to perform all the functions of a Division I Assistant Softball Coach. Commitment to adhere to NCAA and conference rules and regulations as well as University policies and procedures.
Beyond meeting minimum requirements, candidates will be evaluated in terms of how their experience and education have prepared them for Division I assistant coaching including recruiting, assisting with practice and practice planning, player development, monitoring academics, conducting camps/clinics and administrative abilities within operations of the softball office. Coaching philosophy must complement the philosophy of the head coach.
