Summary: Â Â Reporting to the Head Softball Coach, the Assistant Softball Coach will be responsible for all phases of a competitive NCAA Division I softball program, competing in the Big South Conference. Â

Work Performed: Â On field Coaching, practice planning, recruiting, travel arrangements, budget management, camps/clinics, field maintenance and development of the program within the guidelines of the NCAA, Big South Conference, and Charleston Southern University. Â This position requires evening and weekend work and travel by bus.

Experience: Â Â Applicants must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Â Must be able to work effectively independently and as part of a team. Â The candidate will articulate and model the dynamics of Christian coaching. Â

Qualifications

Education:   Bachelor’s degree and college playing and/or coaching experience.  Knowledge of NCAA Division I rules is expected.
