| General Summary |
Effectively coach, teach, prepare, positively motivate and mentor student-athletes for Academic, Athletics and Life successes.

| Major Duties |
- Coach student-athletes in gymnastics while preparing them for competition at the major college level.
- Spot student-athletes on gymnastics apparatuses and floor exercise at practices and competitions.
- Develop and implement effective practice plans to maximize athletic performance throughout the season.
- Teach, mentor, and support student-athletes in areas including mental wellness, time management, teamwork, and social development to promote academic and life success.
- Assist the Head Coach with overall program management and assigned coaching responsibilities.
- Utilize game and practice film, practice evaluations, strength and conditioning assessments, statistical analysis, and industry best practices to design and execute effective training plans.
- Continuously evaluate student-athlete performance and adjust instruction to improve skills, knowledge, and competitive outcomes.
- Identify, evaluate, scout, recruit, and interview prospective student-athletes and their parents/guardians.
- Support recruiting efforts to attract high-quality student-athletes who align with program and University standards.
- Maintain full knowledge of and strict compliance with University, MAC, and NCAA rules and regulations related to coaching, recruiting, and intercollegiate competition.
- Complete administrative duties such as fundraising support, budget assistance, team travel planning, equipment coordination, NCAA CARA documentation, recruiting schedules, housing and meal coordination, and preseason training camp planning.
- Collaborate with University administrators and faculty to ensure student-athletes meet academic requirements and progress toward graduation.
- Uphold academic, ethical, and moral integrity while advocating for the well-being of student-athletes.
- Participate in fundraising, alumni relations, public relations, and media events as requested to promote the program and University.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the athletic department and contribute to the overall success of student-athletes and the program.

| Minimum Qualifications |
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- One year of relevant experience at the NCAA Division I level, USAG/Elite or International level.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in recruiting, training, coaching, evaluating, and supervising student athletes to attain their maximum level of academic and athletic performance and to compete successfully against major college competition in a quality program.
- USAG Safety Certification.

- Three years of relevant experience at the NCAA Division I level, USAG/Elite or International level.
- Proven ability to teach and spot elite-level gymnastics skills.
- One year of recruiting experience, preferably at the NCAA Division I level.
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge of gymnastics training techniques and strategies.
- Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA Compliance rules and regulations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
