| Position Summary |
The Assistant Director of Compliance will assist in the supervision of the daily operations of the Athletics’ Department Compliance Office and implement policy and procedures that ensure institutional control.

| Essential Duties |
- Assist in developing and maintaining a comprehensive rules education platform for administrators, coaches, student-athletes, boosters, fans, prospective students, parents, and advisors (regular emails to staff, social media management, etc.).
- Monitor and organize recruitment documentation involving telephone calls, contacts, evaluations, unofficial visits, and official visits, play and practice season information related to countable athletically related activities (CARA) logs, playing season declaration, and dates of competition.
- Entering, updating, and maintaining student-athlete information in various databases.
- Managing textbook distribution and retrieval for book scholarship student-athletes in coordination with the Academic Staff.
- Serve as sport specific liaison to programs as assigned.
- Assist in bylaw 15 awards ensuring NCAA & Institutional compliance.
- Oversee complimentary admissions process through ARMS.
- Conduct NCAA & Institutional initial-eligibility evaluations for all sports.
- Interpret NCAA and respective conference legislation for coaches and staff.
- Assist in the certification of continuing eligibility for all student athletes.
- Assist in annual NCAA reports, coaches recruiting exam and Title IX certification.

| Secondary Responsibilities |
- Participate actively in professional organizations through attendance at conferences, clinics, and conventions as authorized by the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation or designee in order to maintain awareness and understanding of current developments within all areas of responsibility.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the Vice President / Director of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation, other designees.

| Required Qualifications |
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and education.
- Minimum of 1 year working in a DI NCAA Compliance Office, Conference Office, or the NCAA National Office.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and NCAA Application.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
- High degree of integrity and confidentiality.
- Ability to interpret complex oral and written concepts and handle multiple tasks to meet established deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills to relate to a diverse community of students, faculty, and staff.
- Successful background check clearances including, but not limited to, a PA Criminal Records Check, FBI Fingerprinting Check and PA Child Abuse Clearance Check.

| Preferred Qualifications |
- Experience with the application of Bylaw 15.
- Proficient in ARMS/Teamworks software.
- Possess a strong working knowledge of NCAA bylaws and legislative, interpretive, and waiver processes.

- Must have flexibility and be able to work evenings, early mornings, and weekends.
- This position may require travel.
