Assistant Director-Athletic Facilities & Events
Coordinate logistical aspects of game-day operations for all athletic events and camps including venue setup, equipment preparation, and staffing assignments. Develop game day schedules including set up, staffing, pre-game, in-game, and post-game activities. Oversee set up and operation of audiovisual equipment, scoreboards, and other technical elements for athletic events.
Develop and implement comprehensive game-day schedules to ensure timely execution of pre-game, in-game, and post-game activities. Oversee the setup and operation of audiovisual equipment, scoreboards, and other technical elements necessary for athletic events.
Develop facility maintenance plan and maintain a facility master plan. Create facility use agreements and execute support and fulfillment of agreements, certificates of insurance, invoices, and payments. Maintain the department’s event schedule calendar.

Recruit, train, and schedule event staff, including ushers, ticket takers, and security personnel. Provide clear direction and support to event staff to ensure efficient and effective execution of their responsibilities. Serve as the primary point of contact for event staff, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise during athletic events.
Collaborate with marketing and promotions teams to develop and implement fan engagement initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall game-day experience. Coordinate promotional activities, giveaways, and special events to increase fan participation and excitement. Monitor fan feedback and make recommendations for improvements to enhance future events.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, venue policies, and league or conference guidelines. Implement and enforce crowd management protocols to ensure the safety and security of all attendees. Work closely with facility management and public safety officials to address any emergency situations that may arise during athletic events.
Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and partners to coordinate services and deliveries related to game-day operations, including concessions, merchandise sales, and sponsor activities
Act as the Athletics Camp Coordinator including the following:
Coordinate all aspects of camp logistics, including facility reservations, equipment procurement, and scheduling of staff and guest instructors.
Develop comprehensive camp and facility schedules
Develop facility rental form policy that adheres to Chadron State College and the Nebraska State College System.
Develop marketing material and promotional strategies to attract camp participants, including flyers, social media posts, and email campaigns.
Manage camp registration process, including online registration systems, payment processing, and communication with camp participants and their families.
Serve as the primary point of contact for the inquiries related to camp registration, scheduling, and logistics.
Recruit, hire, and train camp staff, including coaches, counselors, and support personnel.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to camp staff, ensuring they are equipped to deliver high-quality instruction and supervision to camp participants.
Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to review camp policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

Previous work experience in Collegiate Athletics
