Job Description

Athletics is a dynamic team of student-athletes, coaches and administrators with a vision to demonstrate unprecedented excellence in athletics, academics and student-athlete development. Our championship culture provides a foundation for our students to grow as a person, student and athlete.

The Assistant Director, Ohio Bobcat Club focuses on assisting the Associate Director with the day-to-day operations of the annual campaign and sport specific giving initiatives. This position will help to coordinate the premium seating and parking program, manage the Ohio Bobcat Club website, organize the annual student-athlete thank-a-thon, oversee the crowdfunding initiatives, and manage a small portfolio of donors. In addition, the position will be responsible for assisting with event operations.

1. Assist with the day-to-day operations of the annual campaign. Serve as liaison for all mailings and fulfillment needs. Assist with allocation of benefits.

2. Coordinate the premium seating and parking program. Determine donor eligibility and develop coordination program for solicitations.

3. Oversee specific projects/initiatives such as the Ohio Bobcat Club website, annual student-athlete thank-a-thon and crowdfunding initiatives. Other projects to be determined based on experience.

4. Manage a small portfolio of annual fund and sport specific donors.

5. Assist with the planning and implementation of donor events.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree. Experience in fundraising, Advancement, sales/marketing, or related field.

Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree
