Utah Valley University is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable individual to join our Athletics Department as a part-time Equipment Room Manager Assistant. This role offers the opportunity to support UVU’s intercollegiate athletic teams by assisting with the daily operations of the equipment room, including issuing, maintaining, and laundering practice and game gear. The position also plays a key role in coordinating equipment and facility setup for home and away competitions and helps manage inventory and records. Summary of Responsibilities

• Maintains the functionality of uniforms, practice gear, and equipment for the various athletic programs. Assists in the maintenance of equipment inventories. Reconciles athletic and sports equipment stock. Cleans and repairs equipment and ensures that all uniforms and related apparel and equipment are maintained in serviceable condition as necessary. Assists with uniform and equipment setup, preparation, distribution, and retrieval at practices and on game day.
• Assists with the maintenance of sports facilities and the coordination of day-to-day sports activities for the programs.
• Supervises work-study and student workers.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications

Graduation with a high school diploma or GED.

Knowledge

• Knowledge of record keeping and inventory management.
  
• Knowledge of all NCAA and UVU institutional policies and procedures.

Skills - Skill in coordinating game preparation.

Abilities - Ability to assist in the operation of issuing, repairing, and laundering athletic practice and game equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of individuals.
