Position Information
The Assistant Golf Coach for the UCR Golf Program will report directly to the Director of the UCR Golf program. The assistant coach is primarily responsible for assisting with all aspects of NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Golf program including, but not limited to, recruiting academically and athletically qualified student-athletes, fostering and supporting student-athlete welfare and skill-development, statistics analysis, practice and game day preparation and coaching, scheduling, budget management, fundraising and public relations, and adherence to the NCAA, Big West, and University rules. The successful candidate must communicate effectively and develop positive relationships with faculty, staff, students, media, alumni, and boosters while interacting successfully with department personnel and the University community. The full salary range for the Assistant Golf Coach is $44,800.00 - $73,200.00 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.
