Job Purpose:
Assists the Head Coach in the development and administration of the University's Soccer Athletic Program. Including, but not limited to, coaching, mental training, mentoring, recruiting, public relations, community involvement and administrative duties as assigned.

Essential Functions:
Minimum Qualifications:
Playing and/or coaching experience in soccer with knowledge of rules of the game and playing strategies
Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulation
Ability to travel throughout the academic year and summer
Strong communication skills to effectively work with a diverse work force and student-athlete population
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to motivate student athletes
Demonstrated ability to be self- directed and detail-oriented
Preferred Qualifications:
Goal keeper coaching/training skill development
International playing and/or coaching experience
Demonstrated experience working in a leadership role in a collaborative environment
Demonstrated knowledge or experience of domestic and/or international recruiting
Demonstrated experience with sport specific and compliance software
Coaching license or certification from USSF or NSCAA.
Division I coaching experience
