General Summary of Position:

This being a promotional opportunity, only current UML Employees within the same Bargaining unit are eligible to apply for this position.

The Associate Head Coach of Women’s Soccer assists with the organization and supervision of all aspects of the Women’s Soccer team within the parameters designated by the university, the America East Conference and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).

Essential Job Duties:

  1. Assist with all aspects of student-athlete development and performance of the women’s intercollegiate soccer program, to include:

• Serving as the Primary Recruiting Coordinator for all prospective student-athletes domestically and internationally; manages the recruitment schedule and appropriately assigns staff to live and video evaluation.
• Coordinates and executes recruiting visits.
• Conducting and supervising practices and player conditioning.
• Serving as the Scouting Coordinator of future opponents – builds scouting reports, and overseeing other coaching staff in their respective areas of advanced scouting.
• Devising game day strategies based on the scouting reports with the preparation and implementation of game strategies.
• Providing appropriate leadership, direction and supervision relevant to the academic progress and personal development of student-athletes within the women’s soccer program.
