| Position Summary |
The Coordinator, Athletic Business Office is an administrative position that provides support for the daily operations of the Athletic Business Office. This position assists in budgeting, financial reporting, accounts payable, payroll, purchasing and compliance with related policies. The Athletic Business Office Coordinator works closely with coaches and staff to ensure smooth financial operations and supports strategic decision making by providing accurate and timely financial data.

| Essential Duties |
- Provide business administrative and financial support to the Associate Athletic Director for Business, Strategy & Analytics.
- Serve as a liaison between Athletics & University Procurement, Budget & Accounts Payables & Bursar offices.
- Assist in daily business operations including but limited to check requests, purchases requests, travel advance requests & invoice payments.
- Coordinate travel plans such as hotel accommodations, meal money requests, ground transportation and commercial flights.
- Assist with budget monitoring for all sports and departments as well as assist with preparation of monthly budget summary reports.
- Assist with ensuring that all financial transactions are in compliance with NCAA, Atlantic 10 Conference and University rules and regulations.
- Assist with the annual EADA report and NCAA Agreed Upon Procedures report.
- Be responsible for ensuring that financial records are properly retained.
- Identify opportunities for process automation across reporting and analytics.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

| Required Qualifications |
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1-2 years of athletics business administrative experience.
- Demonstrated skills using PC software applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and the ability to use standard office equipment.
- Knowledge and experience in NCAA rules and compliance is required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and adherence to NCAA and member conference rules and regulations.
- Demonstrated self-direction and motivation with the ability to work independently and work under pressure.
- Successful background check clearances including, but not limited to, a PA Criminal Records Check, FBI Fingerprinting Check and PA Child Abuse Clearance Check.
- Knowledge of and commitment to the mission of La Salle University.

- Preferred candidates will possess excellent communication skills, demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population, experience in creating and implementing personal and professional development opportunities for coaches and student-athletes.
- Experience in higher education, university advancement and financial planning and budget management.

| Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours |
- Required to work evening and/or weekends as necessary to manage events or oversee facilities during peak periods
- Work in stationary position for periods of time in all weather conditions.
- Must be able to move heavy equipment and lift up to 50 pounds.
