Summary Description: The Athletic Data and Roster Manager, Assistant Internal Affairs, will ensure all Carson-Newman Athletic team rosters are kept up to date within the University systems and the NCAA applications. The position will ensure an accurate flow of information between coaches, compliance, admissions, financial aid and athletic trainers for all incoming, transfers and return student athletes. In addition to this responsibility, this role will be the main athletic liaison to HR when onboarding new athletic hires, GA’s and student workers.
Essential Functions:
As Christian educators, all employees of the University should regularly attend and actively participate in a local church.
Daily update and manage Athletic rosters to ensure up to date accuracy using internal software, SPRY and Institutional workflows.
Collaborate with Coaching staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency during student signing periods.
Update and manage accuracy with student data within the Institutional systems, assist with collecting data for internal and external reports.
Oversee all paperwork and workflows with HR when onboarding new Athletic department coaches, GA’s, Work Students and Staff.
Fostering a collaborative work environment.
Liaise with Admissions, Financial Aid and HR departments on a daily basis.
Manage the requests and workflows from SPRY with onboarding new students and financial aid contracts.
Maintain accurate records and make sure all systems are backed up on a regular basis.
Provide regular information on progress with new student athletes to Compliance Director and Coaches.
Monitor new student athletes onboarding into the school with NCAA Applications, SPRY, Institutional software applications.
Assist Associate Athletic Director of Compliance, Internal Affairs with requests for data reports and student onboarding.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree is preferred but not essential
Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience within an office environment, accountancy, data entry, computer skills are essential. Must be organized.
