| Minimum Qualifications |
- Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. - Certification through Athletic Training Board of Certification (BOC) is required in addition to State of Michigan Athletic Training Licensure or ability to obtain license within 90 days of employment. - Perform all job duties in a manner consistent with NCAA, conference and University rules, regulations, ordinances, policies, procedures and guidelines. - Proven work history in an independent setting. - Excellent organizational and analytical skills. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Ability to communicate effectively with others. - Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurance acceptable to the University’s insurance carrier.

- Master’s Degree in Athletic Training or related field is preferred. - One year of experience in an independent setting. - Experience with electronic medical records. - Evidence of the desire for continuing education.

Reports directly to Asst. AD for Athletic Training. Duties include, but are not limited to, prevention, clinical evaluation, immediate care, treatment, rehabilitation, use of therapeutic modalities and bracing/taping for athletic injuries under the direction of a physician. Instruct, plan/program, and evaluate therapeutic exercise programs to help decrease pain and increase function of student athletes. Help organize, schedule and execute surveillance testing and pre-participation physicals for student athletes.
