Job Description:
What We're Looking For:
Strong organizational and event planning skills
Self-starter
Experience managing office operations and correspondence
Ability to coordinate fundraising and donor relations efforts
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of NCAA and PacWest Conference is a plus
Ability to collaborate with multiple departments and external partners
Comfortable managing digital marketing initiatives
A proactive, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving
Passion for athletics and sports culture
What You'll Be Doing:
Events
Planning and executing key athletic department non-game events and fundraisers (such as annual awards banquet, golf tournament, student-athlete gatherings, etc.)
Coordinating logistics for NCAA and conference events
Office Management
Managing daily office operations and ordering office supplies
Serving as the primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries
Assisting with scheduling Athletic Department meetings
Supporting the Athletic Department with administrative tasks
Donor and Sponsor Relations
Supporting donor and sponsor engagement efforts
Tracking Donations & Gifts
Create Sponsor Recaps and Support Sponsorship Activation
Primary liaison with NIL partner and other student-athlete support programs
Marketing Support
Managing customer databases and communications
Support promotion of upcoming games/events on various internal promotional assets
Acting as a liaison with campus departments and vendors for key events
General
Ensuring compliance with NCAA and PacWest regulations
Other duties as assigned by Senior Associate Athletic Director
Qualifications:
Demonstrates general knowledge and awareness of athletics/sports culture
Demonstrates high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
Preferred, but not required, understanding of basic graphic design software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
Evidence of Christian commitment and active church involvement. In addition, staff agree to live in agreement with PLNU’sCommunity Life Covenant.

Physical Requirements:
The work is primarily sedentary and may require sitting for extended periods of time.
Use of computer equipment: computer keyboard, mouse, and monitor.
Vision to read documents, email and other correspondence, and reports on paper and computer monitor.
Ability to communicate effectively with others in person and by phone.
Will also stand, stoop, push, pull, and lift up to 10 lbs throughout the day.
