Monmouth University is seeking applications for a part-time Coordinator of Athletic Communications.
The Coordinator for Athletic Communications is primarily responsible for all media relations duties and promotion pertaining to assigned sports; including, but not limited to women’s soccer, track and field and cross country and women’s lacrosse. Support of the department’s coverage of football and women’s and men’s basketball will also be required.
This is an on-campus, in-person, non-remote position.

Job Duties

- Provide all relations efforts for selected sports, including but not limited to: women’s soccer, track and field and cross country, and women’s lacrosse.
- Manage and engage on social media platforms for the athletic department or specific teams, including Instagram, Facebook, and X.
- Update and maintain content on the athletic department’s website, including historical archives and statistics.
- Write and distribute press releases, game notes, and other news content.
- Assist with the production of media guides, recruiting brochures, and other publications.
- Support of the department’s coverage of football and women’s and men’s basketball.

- Serve as a primary media contact for media inquiries and requests for specific programs, and coordinate interviews with coaches and student-athletes for various media outlets.
- Assist with media operations during games, including providing game statistics and information, including assisting with football and men’s and women’s basketball on game days.
- Maintain and manage media archives, including photos and other content.
