-Produce live ESPN+ broadcasts for USF Athletics events, ensuring strong storytelling and professional game coverage
-Direct broadcast productions, coordinating camera operators, replay operators, graphics, and audio personnel
-Technical direct (TD) broadcasts using industry-standard switchers and control room systems
-Regularly assist in broadcast equipment setup and strike, which will occur on designated setup days (typically the day or two prior to each event)
-Assist in pre-production planning including rundowns, crew assignments, and technical setup documentation
-Collaborate with athletics staff, production crews, and partners to ensure seamless event execution
-Train and supervise student production assistants in variety of broadcast roles
-Ensure compliance with ESPN+ production standards
Required Qualifications
-Bachelor's Degree in broadcasting, media production, communications, or related field, or a combination of education and relevant professional experience as a substitute for the minimum education requirement.
3-5 years of professional experience in live sports broadcasting
-Hands-on experience in producing, directing, technical directing, and replay operations
-Strong understanding of live production workflows, including control room and event-based production environments
-Multi-skill capability across production roles (TD, replay, shading, audio, graphics coordination)
-Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure live event environments
-Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Degree Equivalency Clause: Four years of direct experience for a bachelor’s degree.

• SB 1310: Substitution of Work Experience for Postsecondary Education Requirements

• (b) Four years of direct experience for a bachelor’s degree;
• (c) Six years of direct experience for a master’s degree;
• (d) Seven years of direct experience for a professional degree; or
• (e) Nine years of direct experience for a doctoral degree
• Related work experience may not substitute for any required licensure, certification, or registration required for the position of employment as established by the public employer and indicated in the advertised description of the position of employment.
• Minimum Qualifications that require a high school diploma are exempt from SB 1310.
Preferred Qualifications
-Prior experience working in collegiate athletics or sports broadcast environments
-Experience training and supervising student production crews
-Knowledge of ESPN+ production workflows and standards
-Proficiency in setting up and operating broadcast equipment (cameras, switchers, replay systems, intercoms, audio boards)
-Experience with fiber-based broadcast systems and troubleshooting signal paths
-Basic understanding of NDI, principles of video over IP
