Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution as approved and accepted by the University of South Alabama and three years experience in corporate sales, multi-media or directly related sales experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and five years experience in corporate sales, multi-media or directly related sales experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Job Description Summary

The University of South Alabama’s Athletics department is seeking to hire a Director, Corporate Sales – Athletics. Interested candidates should apply to be considered.

Essential Functions

These are the job duties required of the position.

| Essential Functions |
- Responsible for creating and implementing high level corporate marketing partnerships for Jaguar Athletics while also building and maintaining relationships with corporate partners and athletics department staff. - Prospects for new partners. - Maintains sponsorship relationships. - Creates and presents sponsorship package proposals designed to meet clients’ objectives. - Collaborates with vendors, sponsors, and staff to ensure implementation of sponsorships and contract fulfillment. - Ensures sales components are executed at contests and venues. - Assists in the development of creative, sellable invetory. - Ensures compliance with all applicable NCAA and Sun Belt Conference regulations. - May drive University vehicles to and from work locations. - Regular and prompt attendance. - Ability to work schedule as defined and additional hours as required. - Related duties as required.
