Title: Director of Player Personnel, Men’s Basketball

Stanford’s Department of Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation (“DAPER”) is the premier intercollegiate athletics program in the country. We are the proud Home of Champions! We lead the nation with 138 NCAA championship titles and a legacy of sustained excellence, including multiple Women’s Capital One Cup victories, and have brought home the Learfield Director’s Cup 26 times. We support nearly 900 student-athletes who compete on 36 intercollegiate athletics teams and also support the university’s physical education, recreation and wellness initiatives. Stanford Athletics is currently accepting applications for the position of Director of Player Personnel. Reporting to the James C. Gaither Associate Head Men's Basketball Coach, this position supports the overall operations and strategic initiatives of the Stanford Men’s Basketball program. The Director of Player Personnel plays a key role in program management, contributing to areas such as analytics, scouting coordination, recruiting operations, and player development. The role requires a proactive, organized professional who can thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment while upholding Stanford Athletics’ commitment to excellence on and off the court. This role is onsite with a fixed-term end date of no later than April 30, 2027.

  • Your responsibilities include:
  • Analytics & Performance Tracking:

    • Collect, maintain, and analyze team and individual performance data.
    • Develop and manage statistical databases to support coaching and player development decisions.
