Position Summary

This position facilitates the day-to-day needs of the Men’s Ice Hockey Team. This position will assist the Men’s Hockey coaching staff with recruiting, events, planning and administrative tasks. This position will oversee all video needs for the coaches. This position will also help market and sell the Men’s Hockey program to potential recruits through on-campus recruiting efforts. This position will be a liaison between alumni, booster groups, students, academics, community service organizations, and anything else that is directly, or indirectly, related to the ice hockey program. This position will work in conjunction with the arena staff, academic advising, admissions, sports information, and other relatable athletic department staff daily. Whoever is in this position must be able to work efficiently and effectively in a variety of situations.

Gather and breakdown game film for review and analysis. Possess a working knowledge of video technology for the purpose of setting up, editing, and providing segmented video for analysis by the coaching staff.

Assist with the process of official and unofficial prospective student-athlete (PSA) visits, including, but not limited to, booking of all travel, local reservations, and campus reservations. Manage and maintain all recruiting social media activities and engagement, in conjunction and consultation with Omaha Athletics internal and external operations. Maintain database files of recruits and student-athletes. Breakdown potential recruit film.

Work with the coaching staff, and arena staff, to assist with all game day needs. work in conjunction with the arena staff, academic advising, admissions, sports information, and other relatable athletic department staff daily.All other duties assigned.
