Job Description:

Western Kentucky University, a member of Conference USA and a Football Bowl Subdivision NCAA member institution, seeks to hire an individual for the position of Director of Revenue Share/Operations Analyst.  This is a 12-month, full-time position.  This position will report directly to the Executive Senior Associate Athletic Director.  Applicants must have a commitment to and responsibility for adhering to all rules and regulation of WKU, Conference USA and the NCAA.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The following duties are customary for this position, but are not to be construed as all-inclusive.  Duties may be added, deleted and assigned based on management discretion and institutional needs.

• Oversee and manage all revenue share contracts for WKU student-athletes, from initiation through execution and payment tracking.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all revenue share contract matters with:

  • WKU Athletics administration and coaches
  • WKU legal counsel
  • Student-athletes and their representation

• Collaborate with the head coaches and staff to develop and manage revenue share budgets.

• Ensure timely and accurate execution and documentation of all contracts and payments.

• Maintain a centralized and up-to-date system for active contracts, renewals, and payment schedules.

• Monitor and communicate updates related to federal, state, NCAA, and WKU-specific legislation impacting revenue share policies.

• Partner with internal departments to ensure alignment and compliance across operations.

• Support the Head Football Coach with assigned day-to-day tasks and operations.

• Assist the Football Chief of Staff with operational needs and special projects as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills Considered Essential for Success:

• Strong understanding of NIL, NCAA compliance, and athlete representation.
• Ability to manage confidential information with integrity.
• Must be self-motivated and team-oriented.
• Excellent organization, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Computer experience, especially with Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office.
• The duties and responsibilities of this position must be performed in a competent manner following the highest standards for leadership, professionalism, integrity, accountability, responsibility, cooperation, and customer service.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 3 years of experience in college athletics, contract administration, NIL/revenue share operations, or related field.
