Job Description

This position is responsible for spearheading special projects within the Vanderbilt Women’s Basketball program and overseeing administrative functions that focus on developing and maintaining athletic culture. This position works closely with Athletic Administration, Head Women’s Basketball Coach, and Sport Administrator to maximize resources in an effort to ensure the overall success of the program.

Vanderbilt University’s Athletics Department prepares student-athletes to become leaders and champions in life by placing the highest values on integrity, character, sportsmanship and victory. Vanderbilt is a charter member of the Southeastern Conference and is the conference's only private school. The university fields 17 varsity teams, 15 of which compete in the Southeastern Conference.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Oversee and supervise assigned day-to-day administrative operations of the women’s basketball program
  2. Serve as manager for assigned administrative women’s basketball staff
  3. Serve as the liaison to assigned athletics administration and administrative departments
  4. Work closely with Development and Alumni Relations offices (NCC and Black & Gold Club) on fundraising endeavors for women’s basketball
    1. Create and execute programs to cultivate and maintain relationships with women’s basketball alumni
    2. Assist with departmental communication to alumni and donors, as requested
