RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Director of Athletics, the successful candidate will oversee all communication,
marketing, and promotional efforts for Allen University Athletics. The candidate will
demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to a liberal arts institution, Division II
athletics, and an appreciation for the NCAA, Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference
(SIAC), and institutional culture. The candidate should possess excellent written and verbal
communication skills, strong computer and software skills, and management skills.

contact for Allen University Athletics. Cultivate and foster relationships to maximize coverage
of Allen University Athletics teams, players, accomplishments, and stories. Game Management -
Work collaboratively with athletic operations to provide support from a marketing and
communication perspective. Supervise competition live streaming. Website & social media -
Oversight of athletic website, social media handles, and other athletics media. Ensure the content
is accurate, updated, and relevant. Publications - Oversee the development and production of all
publications, visiting team guides, and brand identity for all athletic teams. Advertising,
Promotions & Sponsorships - Manage promotional efforts for athletic events on campus and in
the community. Coordinate promotional materials for games and events.
Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred. Previous sports
information/communication experience on the collegiate level is required. Experience with
SIDEARM software.
