- Bachelor’s degree in athletic training, physical education, kinesiology or related discipline - Master’s degree in athletic training or related discipline - Five (5) years of demonstrated full-time professional experience working in a collegiate sports medicine setting, and must include one (1) or more years of supervisory and administrative responsibility. - Obtain a Washington State Athletic Trainer License in two months from hire date. - NATA Board Certification - Adult CPR, First Aid and AED certification required. - Knowledge of NCAA rules. - Valid driver’s license by time of hire. - Demonstrated ability to work successfully with a diverse student-athlete population. - Demonstrated interest, ability and/or experience promoting cultural competency, universal accessibility, and/or diversity.

- Experience that demonstrates the ability to effectively lead and manage a diverse group of health care professionals. - Experience providing and coordinating sports medicine health care services at the NCAA Division I level with both men’s and women’s sports. - Demonstrated work experience with evidence of strong organizational, time management, communication, and problem-solving skills; work with students, coaches, administrators, and health care professionals in a broad range of situations; the ability to initiate and complete projects with a high level of accuracy and meet specific deadlines. - Experience working within electronic health records system(s). - Drug-testing administration certification. Functional Movement Screen (FMS) certification. - Work experience that demonstrates genuine concern and interest for the welfare of student-athletes.
