Grand Canyon University is seeking a event service scheduling manager. The Scheduling Manager is responsible for the campus scheduling system with coordinating, planning, and optimizing the system to ensure operation and organizational goals are met.
What you will do:
Manage campus scheduling system from processes to functionality.
Oversee, maintain, and update event and athletics scheduling for the GCU campus.
Maintain close communications with all internal and external stakeholders to coordinate needs.
Process and resolve conflicts and prioritize event requests in a timely manner; assign event coordinator to event if necessary.
May be responsible for tasks such as running and distribute reports as needed, preparing presentations related to scheduling and other scheduling tasks.
Attend and schedule various meetings with internal departments and outside groups.
Other duties as assigned.

What you need:
Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution preferred; experience may be acceptable in lieu of degree.
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience with event scheduling in high volume, fast paced environment and supervising employees preferred.
Must pass pre-employment background investigation.
Must have a Driver’s License in good standing.
Experience with MS Office Suite, Teams, Zoom, Scheduling Software.
Experience in drafting and managing contracts with vendors is preferred.
Prior experience in event planning or coordination is preferred.
