Job Summary: The Federal Work-Study Student Assistant for the Volleyball team will provide crucial support to the coaching staff and assist in the daily operations of the volleyball program. This role is designed for students with an interest in sports management, athletic administration, and team operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in setting up and breaking down equipment for practices and matches.
• Help manage and maintain sports equipment and team inventory.
• Support the coordination of team travel arrangements, including lodging, transportation, and meal planning.
• Participate in the organization and execution of team events, fundraisers, and community outreach.
• Maintain accurate records of team statistics, player performance, and scheduling.
• Assist with recruitment efforts by preparing materials for prospective student-athletes and coordinating visit logistics.
• Comply with all NCAA rules and university policies regarding athlete welfare and sports operations.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Must be eligible for Federal Work-Study at Wheeling University.
