House Settlement Negotiator, Quantitative Analysis & Contract Manager

25% I.   Join a small Team that is tasked with the rollout and ongoing success of House Settlement financial sharing with a minimum of five sport programs (Football, Men’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball, Volleyball & Men’s Hockey).
 

Take the lead in designing House Settlement financial sharing models that align with the core values of the University of Minnesota, Athletics Department and Sport programs.  The models must align with Big Ten Conference regulations, appropriate NCAA legislation & U of M policy/procedures. Work with Dinkytown Athlete’s Collective to ensure a smooth and seamless  combining of House Settlement financial sharing with NIL for individual student-athletes as permissible under NCAA legislation. 
 

30% II. The successful candidate will be the Negotiator with prospective student-athletes/parents or legal guardians/agents for the Women’s Basketball, Volleyball & Men’s Hockey programs. 

 

Lead and manage the contract negotiations, ensuring U of M standards and objectives are met. Negotiate the terms of the contracts as well as maintaining, updating, and terminating existing contracts as necessary.  In some cases, this position will be asked to assist with adjustments to the contract template.  Update information and documentation in our database
