Bachelor’s degree (must apply and be accepted in one of many graduate programs at Sul Ross State University). Have previous collegiate soccer experience either playing or coaching. Standard office machines; computer skills. Ability to assist and/or direct practices and workouts.

Preferred

Additional or other related experience. Participated or helped coach soccer camps for any age groups. Word processing, database, and spreadsheet computer program skills.

SummaryFunction: Sul Ross State University, an NCAA Division III institution located in Alpine, Texas, and a member of the American Southwest Conference, is currently seeking qualified applicants for a graduate assistant position in the department of athletics for men’s soccer. Scope: The successful applicant will work closely with the Head Men’s Soccer Coach. In this role, the successful applicant will be working closely with the student-athletes at SRSU. Duties Essential: Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, assist in practice and game planning and preparation; assist in recruiting prospective student-athletes; support of student-athlete success on the court and in the classroom; hospitality and travel management; help setup and teardown of game operations; and other duties as assigned. Sul Ross State University Alpine Campus is in the Scenic Davis Mountains of West Texas, is a member of the Texas State University System, is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award Associate, Bachelor’s, and Master’s degrees, and has an enrollment of approximately 2,000 students of campus in Alpine, Texas.
