The Football Player Personnel Assistant supports the Ole Miss Football program by providing position-specific expertise, assisting with scouting and recruiting processes, and serving as a mentor to current student-athletes. The position will have a strong emphasis on offensive line play and will work closely with the Head Coach, General Manager, and Offensive Coordinator to identify, evaluate, and assist in the acquisition and development of prospective and current offensive line and tight end student-athletes. Responsibilities include assisting with the high school and college scouting process, serving as the primary liaison for offensive line and tight end positions, conducting initial discovery and evaluation on top offensive line transfer portal prospects, and providing advanced scouting reports and evaluations for offensive line and tight end personnel. The Football Player Personnel Assistant will also assist with on-campus recruiting visits and related communications, including hosting prospects and their families and coordinating visit logistics. In addition, the role is expected to serve as a positive mentor to current student-athletes, supporting their overall development and well-being, and to perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach, General Manager, or Offensive Coordinator.
