This position is intended to provide a practical, hands-on experience in the area of student-athlete academic advising. The position will assist in: conducting academic meetings with assigned student-athletes to monitor academic progress, degree progress, and continuing eligibility; providing support with administrative tasks and daily operations of the Content Tutorial Program; utilizing various computer software (Microsoft Office Suite) and student databases (myUFL, Canvas, and TeamWorks); preparing and submitting student-athlete academic reports to advisors and coaches; and coordinating department events. The post grad intern will assist in providing professional level support and programs to student-athletes in accordance with the regulation of UF, UAA, SEC, and NCAA. This is a time limited position with an option for a second year if essential criteria is met, with an anticipated start date in Summer 2025.

Experience in college athletics as a student-athlete or working in an intercollegiate athletic academic office
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Canvas, and TeamWorks
Additional on the job training will be provided to candidates who meet the minimum qualifications for this position. Please note this is a non-coaching position.
