Provide account management for insurance and services for Student-Athletes.  Coordinate the processing, trouble shooting and payment to insurance companies. Ensure financial responsibility to the university by maximizing reimbursements from primary insurance for athletic injury bills in an effort to save money.  Protect the financial records of student-athletes by proper and timely filing of insurance and obtaining pre-authorizations for services.  Protects confidential information of student-athletes.  Serve as liaison between student-athlete and providers for their medical care.

What We’re Looking For:  

• High School diploma
• 4-years office experience.

                         
Skills needed:

• PC skills
• Must be detail oriented and have good interpersonal skills.  
• Knowledge of medical terminology a plus.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance regulations.  
• Electronic Medical Records knowledge and skills.

What is helpful:

• Previous medical or insurance office experience
• Previous medical billing and insurance coordination.
