Provides management and advanced-level coordination of business affairs and budget of a large division, college, or unit. Comprehensive oversight of the budget using analysis, forecasting, and financial reporting. Directs control of the boardapproved budget, including collection, custody, disbursement, accounting, and auditing of all funds. May be responsible for supervising assigned business operations staff.

Oversees, monitors, and administers the financial operations, activities, and budget of the assigned division, college, unit, or department. Conducts comprehensive analysis to ensure efficient utilization of resources. Ensures fiduciary, operational, and transactional compliance and accuracy. Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecasts data to determine department progress toward stated goals and objectives.

Facilitates interpretation and execution of applicable policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations. Provides training and support on policies and procedures to leaders and staff. May supervise staff and provide training, mentoring, hiring, and performance management as assigned.

Continuously reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecasts data to determine department progress toward stated goals and objectives. Develop, implement, and facilitate internal financial policies, procedures, and controls.

Educational Requirements
Bachelors Degree
Required Experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in Business, Accounting, or related field, and three (3) years of related work experience.

Masters Degree
Preferred Experience
Preferred Master's degree in Business, accounting, or related field. Previous experience in managing division and operational budgets, as well as managing and leading staff. Prior experience in higher education is preferred.
$75,000.00 - $80,000.00 Annually. Paid on a Monthly Basis.

Able to handle multiple tasks or projects simultaneously, meeting assigned deadlines. Leadership abilities include but are not limited to personnel development, coaching, goal setting, and outcome measurement.
Office Environment - Work normally performed in a typical interior work environment.
KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of management and finance principles, including accounting and budgeting.
Given the pivotal role of the Senior Business Operations Manager in ensuring the financial integrity and efficiency of the department, it is imperative to uphold the highest standards of accuracy, transparency, and compliance in all aspects of budget services. Any errors must be promptly identified, rectified, and mitigated to minimize the impact on the institution's overall performance and reputation.
SKILLS
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem-solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management, and presentation skills. Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite, emphasis on Excel and accounting transaction systems.) Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills. Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette.
