Temporary event staff are responsible for assisting with staffing operations for Ohio Athletic & Special Event parking arrangements. Staff will be oriented to event specifics via a pre-game meeting with assigned athletic event managers in which equipment & start-up funds will be distributed. Staff will be required to man collection gates, move barricades/signs, provide directional assistance for vehicles utilizing parking on campus, assist with traffic control issues or other duties as assigned. Temporary staff members are utilized on an as needed basis as determined by scheduled events. Temporary staff must be able to work nights and weekends and will be accountable for any money/tickets distributed/collected at designated collection gates. All temporary staff will be monitored by a representative of Ohio University Parking Services while on duty. Applicants must be willing to work in all weather conditions.
Requirements: 1. Basic money counting/distribution ability. 2. Strong communication skills, prior customer service experience preferred. 3. Must be available to work nights and weekends as needed — flexible scheduling. ****Preference given to individuals available to work during summer/breaks.
