Coordinates and supports the operational functions of the UTRGV Athletic Ticket Office. Assists with the planning and implementation of ticket operations, sales initiatives, and game day ticketing activities.
General direction from assigned supervisor.
General supervision of support staff.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.

One (1) year of experience in ticket operations, sales, athletics administration, event management, or a related field.
Experience working in a similar capacity in college athletics, professional sports, sales, or community relations. Knowledge of sports ticket sales strategies and/or a network of relationships within the UTRGV and RGV community.
Use of standard office equipment.
Preferred: Experience with ticketing software.
Needs to be able to successfully perform all required duties. Usual office conditions plus attendance at various University sports events. Ability to work extended hours that are often outside of the normal business schedule such as evenings, weekends, and holidays. Occasional travel is required. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. UTRGV is a distributed institution, which requires presence at multiple locations throughout the Rio Grande Valley.
Extroverted personality type with exemplary written and oral communication skills. Commitment to handing sensitive information in a confidential manner. Proficiency in mining data to identify prospects. Demonstrated ability to collaborate successfully with internal and external stakeholder groups. Ability to exhibit integrity with high ethical standards and strict adherence to NCAA, conference, university and departmental rules and regulations.
