Job Summary

The Ticket Sales and Service Associate delivers exceptional customer service and ensures seamless ticketing operations. This position supports the ticket office by processing transactions, assisting fans with inquiries, and resolving issues related to ticket purchases.

The primary purpose of this roles is to create a positive experience for fans by providing timely, accurate, and friendly service while promoting Long Beach State Athletic events. Additionally, this position will contribute to revenue generation through proactive sales strategies and cultivation of strong fan relationships. It serves as a welcoming and efficient point of contact for all ticketing and fan-related needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ticket Sales and Processing - Process ticket sales through phone, online, and in-person transactions. Handle ticket exchanges, upgrades, refunds, and cancellations efficiently.
  • Customer Service and Fan Support - Assist with promoting and selling ticket packages. Assist with record keeping of sales transactions, various transactions in CRM systems. Serve as the primary point of contact for fans, ensuring a welcoming and friendly experience.
  • Fan Engagement and Cultivation - With leadership’s assistance, build rapport with fans and identify their needs and offer the suitable ticketing solutions.
  • Ticket Office Operations - Provide on-site support for ticketing and fan engagement needs at Athletic events. Assist with game-day operations, including ticket distribution, will-call services, and entry support.
