General Notes

Additional hours will be required to include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Travel will be required. This job is not suitable for remote work and is expected to work regular on-site hours.

Responsibilities

• Significant responsibility in (but not limited to) these areas: manage all aspects of video operations. Manage and oversee videotaping of all practices and games. Provide breakdown of video and utilize practice and game film to identify and report statistical trends. Oversee video operations during away games, including video capture and editing. Assist coaches with game video preparation and scouting reports; and update recruiting profiles to include in-depth research on every prospect recruited by the coaching staff.
• Contribute in several administrative and operational areas of the program including but not limited to: compile and maintain a video library, both archives and current. Coordinate the video exchange program. Adhere to SEC video exchange policies.
• Collaborate closely with External Affairs on the direction of social media and digital communication related to the Women’s Basketball team. Assist with the execution of print and digital recruiting materials.
• Assists the Head Women's Basketball Coach, the Associate Head Women's Basketball Coach, the Assistant Women's Basketball Coaches, and Women’s Basketball support staff as assigned.
• Drive a UT or rental vehicle on and off campus.
• Consistently exemplify the core values and quality service standards of Texas Athletics. Always act ethically. Proactively seek guidance when unsure or unclear of a law, rule or policy applicable to you or your department/sport program. Actively participate in assigned education and training programs. Comply with all laws, policies, rules and regulations set forth by the Board of Regents of The University of Texas System, The University of Texas at Austin, NCAA, Conference, or other governing body, including state and federal laws. Annually obtain prior written approval and report all outside activities and outside income. Report knowledge of, or reasonable cause to believe, violation(s) of state or federal laws, policies, rules, or regulations of the University, Conference, or NCAA to IA ARMCS or IA HR. Fully cooperate with any investigation by providing complete and accurate information when requested to do so by Texas Athletics and/or the NCAA and do not influence others in any way during an investigation. In compliance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 and Texas Education Code Sec. 51.252, this position may be a Non-Confidential Employee as defined by University policies on Sex Discrimination, Sexual Harassment, Sexual Assault, Interpersonal Violence and Stalking. Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree. Six months of experience in video operations or as a basketball support staff member in a collegiate athletics or professional sports program. Excellent IT and digital technology skills. Experience directly related to the essential functions. Excellent interpersonal skills. Professional demeanor. Ability to project the image of the University of Texas and the Athletics Department with dignity and grace regardless of circumstances and environments. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

One year of experience in video operations or as a basketball support staff member in a collegiate athletics or professional sports program. Knowledge of NCAA rules and compliance concepts.Experience in Video Operations at Texas Athletics.

Driving Required

This job requires a class "C" operator's driver's license. The applicant selected must provide a current three year driving record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, a Texas driver's license must be obtained within 30 days of becoming a Texas resident. Employees who are required to have a CDL are subject to drug and alcohol testing (pre-employment, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, random, return-to-duty, and follow-up drug and alcohol testing).

Salary Range

$45,000 negotiable based on qualifications
