The Athletics Department has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Video Director, Men's Basketball to work in Coral Gables, FL.

The Video Director is responsible for assisting the Head Coach, Director of Basketball Operations, and Recruiting Coordinator with all aspects of the Men’s Basketball program. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Scouting and Analytics

  • Scouting Schedule – coordinate with Coach
  • Utilize SportsCode software to break down games for analysis
  • Self scout University of Miami Men’s Basketball team videos for offensive and defensive sets, special strategies and individual players’ tendencies
  • Film, code and distribute practice and game tapes to coaching staff
  • Maintain current video and computer hardware and advise department on existing equipment and possible future upgrades
